Now I went from this

to this

001. First of all, Duplicate your base and set it to soft light.

002. Next. Create a Selective Colour layer and make your settings the same as mine ->
Reds -80, +58, -58, +38. Greens +75, +38, +63, +88.

003. Now, find a pale scratchy texture, I used the one below and cut out the paler bit. Then cut it into an interesting shape and place it at the top of your icon. I also added a stroke and a small drop shadow to make it stand out a little. [Texture is from urbanstrokes on LJ]

004. Paste the below texture and set to Soft Light [Texture is also from urbanstrokes on LJ]

005. Finally, just add a little text, I used Arial for mine You’re done!
