Web 2.0 Reflections.

Made By Peter
Made In Photoshop CS3
Level Of Difficulty Easy/Medium

One of the most popular things used in Web 2.0, is Reflections. This tutorial will show you how to add a reflection to an image. This technique could be used in layouts, or on pages to make the image stand out.

001 Firstly, make a new image in Photoshop, I made mine 400x400. Then Paste your chosen image as a new layer, I used this icon I made, which is available on breathe icons

002 Now, Duplicate your image layer and then go to the Rectangular Marquee tool. Right click and then click Free Transform. Then right click, and click Flip Vertical. After this, align up the bottom of the flipped image to the original one.

003 Then, click the Rectangular Marquee Tool and set your settings to the same as below. Then select a large percentage of the image and then click delete once.

004 Next, Set the duplicated image to around 60%. Now you are done =D

You could also use this tutorial on text, this is my result.
