Now I went from this

to this

001. First of all I added a new Dark Blue layer and set it To Exclusion. You can make your own or just copy this one =] Set the Opacity to around 50%



002. Now, make a new layer with a maroon-y colour I used #901619 and set to Screen 50%.



003. Next, Duplicate your Base Layer and drag it up to the top in the Layers Panel and set to Saturation.



You are done =D You might want to try changing the Maroon to a different colour to get a different effect =]
